Nissan Latio for sale in Myanmar
Nissan Latio, also known as the Nissan Tiida in Myanmar, is a line of vehicles manufactured by the car company, Nissan, since 2004. The C11 Series of the Latio was sold through 2012, either as a 4-door sedan, or more rarely in Myanmar, as a 5-door hatchback. The C11 Latio is a cross between subcompact and compact car, bridging the categories of Nissan cars spanned by the Nissan March and the Nissan Santra. Although very few of the Latio are seen in Myanmar, mostly due to its being a lesser-known model of Nissan cars, the Latio has been in the Myanmar car market since 2011, when it was imported from the Japanese used car auction market. The models available in Myanmar are mostly from the year 2007 through 2012. The most widely-seen colors are white, black, silver, gold or metallic. Red and brown cars are also found sometimes.
Nissan Latio: Review
Nissan Latio: Performance and Engines Specs
The Latio only comes with 1200 cc, 1500 cc and 1800 cc, aluminum four-cylinder engines. 1200 cc petrol engine is widely used in the models available in Myanmar. 1500 cc diesel engine is seen a bit less, although it is still around in some areas. The 4-door sedan is FWD and the 1800 cc engine comes with 6-speed manual transmissions. The other engine types come with 4-speed automatic and CVT automatic transmissions. The wheelbase is 2600 mm, and the hatchback models are 4295 mm long and the sedan versions are 4470 mm in length. Both versions are 1695 mm wide and 1535 mm high, with the curb weight ranging from
1125 kg to 1182 kg. Safety features include dual SRS airbags, navigation system, power steering, power-locks and child-proof window locks.
Nissan Latio: Exterior Design
The enhanced design and features of the Latio deliver added value and superior convenience to its owners. The contemporary and luxurious look of the front grille as well as the front bumper demands respect and establishes the presence of the brand. The rear bumper design also creates a feeling of energy and motion, complemented by the modern styling of the tail lamps and impressive sidelines.
Nissan Latio: Interior Design
This sporty and sleek exterior is coupled with the comfortably spacious interior, adorned with the Steering Wheel Audio control, in the later models. This lets the driver use the audio player with auxiliary input for portable devices. A fashionable white meter lets the driver read the average and instant fuel readings. Other amenities include A/C with digital display, TV/VCR, Power Steering, Power Windows, Power-locks, and Navigation System.
Nissan Latio: Standout Features
What makes the Nissan Latio stand out is its fuel efficiency and its availability as both a hatchback and a sedan. The everyday look of the Latio, however, does not necessarily distinguish itself from the crowd in the Myanmar car market.
Nissan Latio: Price in Myanmar
The Nissan Latios are priced relatively reasonably for its engine strength and efficiency, compared to other similar lines of vehicles. A new Nissan Latio is priced around 160L to 200L Kyats. Used Latios can be available for under 150L Kyats. Carmudi offers easy access to used Nissan Latios with prices ranging from 70L to 190L Kyats.
Nissan Latio: Overall Impression
The 2012 model of Latio sedans are mostly seen in Myanmar. Although overshadowed by other brands of hatchbacks and sedans, Latios are still seen here and there, due to their imports from the Japanese market. Fuel efficiency and convenient comfort should be top on the buyers' minds when they are considering the Nissan Latios.
